Welcome to Mokifun.com. These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Mokifun about using this website and the articles on it. By using the site you agree to them. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian agrees to them for you.
What Mokifun is
Mokifun is a free site by two sisters with practical articles for parents and teachers about how elementary-school kids learn. Everything on the site can be read without an account and without payment. We may support the site with a small amount of advertising, as described in our privacy policy.
Your license to use our content
- Reading and sharing: you may link to any article, share it on social media, and quote short passages with attribution and a link back.
- Teachers and schools: you may print an article or include it in a class newsletter, parent night handout or school website for non-commercial educational use, with attribution to Mokifun.com. We'd love to hear about it.
- Not allowed: republishing full articles elsewhere, selling or bundling our content, removing attribution, or using the text and images to train or feed automated content systems without permission.
All content on Mokifun, articles and images alike, is created by or for us and remains our intellectual property. If you believe any content infringes your rights, see our DMCA policy.
Acceptable use
Keep it fair: do not scrape or bulk-download the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use the site for anything unlawful.
User submissions
The only thing you can submit to Mokifun is a message via the contact form. By sending one you confirm it contains nothing unlawful or offensive, and you allow us to store it and use it to respond. If you send us an article idea, a correction or a story from your own kitchen table and we use it, we may mention it (anonymously unless you tell us otherwise).
Advertising and third parties
Any advertising shown comes from third-party ad partners under their own terms and policies. We do not endorse advertised products, and any transaction with an advertiser is between you and them. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
No warranties
The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. Articles are general information written with care, but they are not medical, psychological, legal or individualized educational advice; for concerns about a specific child, consult the teacher, pediatrician or a qualified professional. Content may change or be removed at any time.
Limitation of liability
You use Mokifun free of charge, and our liability reflects that. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mokifun and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of profits arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site. To the extent liability cannot be excluded entirely, our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnification
If your misuse of the site (for example redistributing our content commercially) causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to compensate us for the resulting damages and reasonable costs.
Changes and termination
We may change these terms or any part of the site at any time by posting the updated version on this page; continued use means you accept the changes. We may restrict access for anyone who violates these terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
