This free 12-page Christmas Activity Book turns December excitement into reading practice. It opens with a page of Christmas Fun Facts at a beginning-reader level, and several puzzles that follow take their answers straight from that page — so a 6- or 7-year-old has a real reason to read every line.

The word work comes first. In the Word Scramble, kids unscramble Christmas words. Code Breaker assigns a letter to each symbol; crack it and a Christmas sentence appears. The Word Search hides the same vocabulary, and when every word is circled the leftover letters spell a secret word.

Between the word puzzles there is a Christmas Maze where a reindeer needs to find Santa, a Mirror Drawing of a star to complete, a Patterns page where kids find the rule and fill in the empty box, and a Matching page that pairs things that go together.

One Activity page connects to Mokifun: children play Word Race and write down how fast they found the words. It is a natural bridge from paper to screen, and the score box makes a fun personal record to beat over the break.

Print on US Letter in black and white; the maze, star, and matching pictures are made for coloring afterward. The Code Breaker and Word Search need a fresh grid, so print one copy per child.
